Tracey relocated to Cornwall over a decade ago, since which time her work has been directly informed by her surroundings; beaches, buildings, vans and ephemera. Using oil on paperboard and at times incorporating collage and mixed media, her work is always powered by the strong lines and vivid, almost enamelled use of colour that are her trademarks, giving the work a crisp, graphic feel, and managing to evoke the nostalgia of vintage storybooks whilst remaining utterly modern.
