Sara grew up in Cornwall and always felt drawn to return to the rugged landscapes that surround her home town. She studied sculpture within Technical Arts & Film Special Effects at Wimbledon School of Art, and enjoyed a career in London in the film industry as sculptor, prosthetic artist & painter. After returning to live in Cornwall she began to focus more on her own creative work, influenced  strongly by the sea and the Cornish landscape. Sculptures are modelled in clay, then cast in bronze or cold cast bronze. Sara also uses clays, slips, oxides, glazes and found objects to enrich her work and communicate thoughts and notions.
